The History of KBM

KBM ApS was founded in 1971 by Mr. Kjeld Bentzen and is today run by his son Mr. Michael Bentzen. Since the beginning, the company has been supplying the EPS industry with high quality machinery.

A few years later, the Injektorking Vario Injectors for EPS were developed, and in 1978 KBM developed the first real recycling plant for EPS; later the same systems were developed to be used for EPP and EPE. Over the years, KBM has designed recycling systems for companies of all sizes in the moulding industry. Combined crushers/compactors to handle post-consumer products of EPS, and mixing/metering systems have also been added to the line of products.

Our purpose

At KBM, we aim at manufacturing the best recycling machines in the industry. This requires a high demand for quality control and continuous developing; why quality and innovation are core values of our company. We see it as our purpose to supply the EPS and EPP industry with high quality machinery and recycling systems, enabling companies to re-use as much as possible back into their productions. This is not only beneficial for the environment, but also beneficial for economical reasons. This kind of recycling process gives the highest payback from the re-used product compared to extruding it to plastic.

Therefore, choosing a KBM machine for your recycling needs will benefit the environment as well as your company's economy.
